Oxidative stress takes place in our body as a result of the harmful effect of free radicals. The key sources of free radicals are unhealthy foods, stimulants, environmental toxins and stress. In the human body free radicals damage cellular DNA, mitochondria, and cell membranes thus speeding up the ageing process, weakening the immune cells, and contributing to various health problems. In order to cope with oxidative stress caused by free radicals our body uses antioxidants such as Vitamin E. Vitamin E is known for its contribution to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol), Bulking Agent (sunflower oil), Capsule Shell [gelling agent (gelatine), humectant (glycerol)].
- Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed recommended daily intake unless advised by a suitably qualified person. Supplements should not be a substitute for a varied/healthy diet.
